Puzzle Pieces

Here's another incredible wildlife moment from my last Costa Rica trip. These two Chestnut-Mandibled Toucans started fighting and after a few minutes of locking their impressive beaks, they did a few full circles like gymnasts on monkey bars and then while the one on the right hung upside down, the intruder was hung and the dominant toucans beak tip was poking into his eye. After hanging for a good 45 seconds he managed to escape the vice grip and promptly flew away.
I do not share exact locations. Our wildlife should be protected and when locations are shared these animals are put at risk. Please do not ask. Any comments "outing" the locations will be deleted....
