Fearless Fox
I'm never going to have time to edit all my fox photos from this winter...this past weekend we found three.
Unfortunately one of them was badly injured but animals are resilient so I'm hoping she makes it.
Initially I thought she was hit by a car but looking closely at the photos it looks more like she was attacked by an animal.
Photos of her to come later...

Wild Elk in Ontario, Canada
I spent ALOT of time with the elk this winter but it still didn't feel like enough. Wish I could have had just a bit more time before they headed into the hills and disappeared.
In 1998 an Elk Restoration Plan was created. Between 1998 and 2001, a total of 443 elk were released in four areas of Ontario. Released elk came from Elk Island National Park in Alberta, a source of elk for many reintroduction and restoration projects in North America.

Everyone that knows me is probably aware of my obsession with the Burrowing Owls in Florida. I have a few spots open for Private Workshops in early May and it's the perfect opportunity to watch the owlets emerging from the burrows, testing their wings and watching the adults dancing in the rain and caring for their babies. Send me an email at mlorenzphotography@rogers.com for more details and to reserve one of these limited sessions.
