Splendid
Splendid Leaf Frog in Costa Rica. These big guys aren't so easy to find. I think this is only the third one I've seen in all my years in Costa Rica.

Kinkajou
Kinkajou in Costa Rica. I've only seen two of these in all my trips to Costa Rica and until now...didn't have any photos to show for it! The kinkajou (Potos flavus) is a tropical rainforest mammal of the family Procyonidae related to olingos, coatis, raccoons, and the ringtail and cacomistle. It is the only member of the genus Potos and is also known as the "honey bear".

Resplendent Quetzal in Costa Rica. One of the most impressive birds I've ever seen....incredible to watch the males flying around.

Toucan
Yellow-Throated Toucan in Costa Rica. This was taken at Dave & Dave's Costa Rica Nature Park...one of my favorite places to spend time. This year I had a house a few minutes away so I was able to visit often and was treated to a few really special sightings.
