Turbocharged
It would be difficult to pick a favorite wildlife moment from the last week...but this little guy would probably be right at the top.
I've only seen them before at a distance and for a split second so I was thrilled to be able to spend time with him.
He looked a bit nuts running around, peeking at us from behind a tree, standing up, climbing trees and making lots of cute noises.

Who are you calling boring?
I could spend all day photographing these guys...so many people say "but they are just squirrels!"
but they amuse me and when you have good photography light it's a shame to turn that down
just because they are a common animal.

Scarred
A couple of weeks ago this fox was badly injured and I really wondered if she would survive.
She couldn't put any weight on one of her front paws and one of the back was severely mangled and appeared infected.
I found her on the first night of the trip and was thrilled to see that she is recovering.
She still has a bit of a limp and some nasty looking scars but it looks like she'll be fine.
Each day she seemed to look better and feel stronger :-)
