I'm back from Newfoundland and had a wonderful time as always.  I haven't had any time to begin editing the new photos but here's one from my last trip which hasn't been posted yet. 

Hopefully my house will be back to normal soon (Reno's were being done while I was away and were not completed on schedule so I have nowhere to work right now!).

More and more bears are showing up and this past weekend we spent lots of time with "Gene" and a few other female bears. We haven't seen any of the males yet but I'm sure they will show up soon :-)

How we chose the cover: Best Wildlife Photography of the Year 2015 - Canadian Geographic



A few thousand votes were cast for the Best Wildlife Photography Of The Year Cover and I'm happy to say that my two photos came out on top! The Pine Marten received 40% of votes and the Fox came in a close second at 33%. A big thanks to everyone for taking the time to vote, comment and for all your support.  It really is appreciated 😄
