Lynx Family
I guess it's time to let the cat out of the bag (sorry for the bad pun, I think I've been quarantined in the house for too long!). It's finally time to share what was keeping me busy this winter. I've kept it quiet for so long now and it's been really tough keeping the secret!
The Canada Lynx Female that I've photographed for the last couple of years returned in December and this year was even more special because she brought her two 8-month-old kittens with her. It was thrilling to watch them grow and see them learning to be more independent each day.

Practice Makes Perfect
Peter the Puffin and a curious Fox Kit in Newfoundland, Canada. Never leave anything laying around with curious wildlife (especially babies!) in the area.

Hairy Dwarf
I had to cancel my trip to Costa Rica in April (obviously) to celebrate my friend's 50th Birthday :-( Hope I can get there for my yearly trip in October to see everyone and for the exciting photo opportunities like this Mexican Hairy Dwarf Porcupine.

Old Friend
Another one of the Old Man Of Algonquin. I've spent the last couple of days going through my archives. I have thousands of images of him which I haven't processed and it's been nice to revisit those memories...but sad as well. It's helping to fill my time while I'm confined to the house and it's the perfect time to get caught up on editing.

Old Man Of Algonquin
I'll miss the Old Man. Since he was taken away from the park and his mate went missing (or died), Algonquin hasn't been the same. Here's an older photo from 2013 when he was healthy and happy....and before his location was shared and posted online for all to see. He is the perfect example of why sharing locations is so dangerous for the animals. Died March 5, 2020
