On the way from Tortilis Camp to Ol Tukai we took a "shortcut" which was a dirt road littered with the volcanic rock from Kilimanjaro. Not much of a shortcut since we had to crawl along to avoid damaging the vehicle but it was a memorable afternoon filled with great wildlife sightings and the most incredible landscapes and as an added bonus I had a Maasai in the 4x4 who was happy to share stories and customs.
