Finally back from my long trip to England and was greeted by a seizuring pug, a huge water leak from our hot water tank that our petsitter/homewatcher didn't know what to do about and my husband is in St. Maarten enjoying a private villa and beach vacation. Ugh. Welcome home! I guess it's payback for being lucky enough to travel as much as I want ;-)
So...moving on to something cute and fuzzy - here's an American Mink.
The American Mink was imported to Britain for fur farming in the 1920's...escapees and those deliberately released by animal activists bred successfully in the wild and these aggressive hunters are now responsible for the decline of many native species.
